Growing up in Brazil, VANDOOSE was shaped by a culture where rhythm, warmth and emotional expression are part of everyday life. As a child, he was both highly imaginative and instinctively analytical, always creating, observing the world around him and trying to understand why some ideas worked while others did not. Today, that combination of Brazilian energy, creative curiosity and critical thinking defines the project: inventive and carefully constructed music, while remaining direct, accessible and unmistakably pop.
His music is written and self-produced with close attention to melody, arrangement, texture and detail. Brazilian rhythmic sensibility, energy and percussion can be felt throughout the sound, but never at the expense of its foundation: emotionally direct, globally accessible singer-songwriter pop.
That same attention to detail and those cultural influences extend beyond the records. From production, visuals and content concepts to storytelling and live arrangements, every element is developed as part of one connected and carefully built artistic world.

Despite bringing together the technical and creative foundations needed to support that ambition, including songwriting, production, multi-instrumental musicianship, live performance and more, VANDOOSE is not defined by those abilities alone. He has also been developing a distinctive world around the music, with its own identity, aesthetic, personality and sound.
That distinctive world is built through close attention to every part of the project, from the arrangements and production details to the visuals, lyrics, storytelling and overall quality of execution. It is also subtly shaped by the rhythm, energy and emotional character of Brazilian culture, adding another layer to the project without defining it entirely. The result is pop refined enough to avoid feeling predictable, but immediate enough to remain emotionally direct, accessible and unmistakably pop.
